Volunteer Commitment

Summer camp volunteers are asked to commit to at least two camps.
Camps typically run for 4 hours a day, Monday-Thursday. We have morning camps, 8:30-12:30, and afternoon camps, 1:00-5:00. Volunteers help out 30 minutes before and after camps, for a total of 5 hours per day. Volunteer opportunities are also available on Fridays from 8:15am-3:30pm.
We will accommodate scheduled vacations, sports, etc. Once you have signed up for camps, please honor that commitment. Finding replacement volunteers during camps is very difficult, and as we said - you are vital!
Volunteers are required to attend a 1.5 hour screening/orientation at 4:00pm on either April 24, or May 22nd as well as a training session in late May. If the scheduled dates don't work for you, please let us know right away so we can schedule a make-up.
