2025 Summer Camps

Spend the summer as a scientist and explore the world around you!

February 3: Members-Only Registration Opens

February 10: General Registration Opens

  • Cancellations made up to April 30:
We will keep a credit on file for any amounts paid minus the $40 non-refundable deposit per camp. This credit can be applied towards any future programs at ExplorationWorks.

    Cancellations After May 1:
    No refunds.

A note on our cancellation policy: We keep our camps small in order to provide the best experience possible. Due to this limited capacity, our camps fill quickly, and we are forced to turn many students away. Cancellations cause others to miss out on our summer camp experience, and our staff does not have the capacity to issue a high volume of refunds. Therefore, we do not issue cash refunds on summer camp registrations.

  • NEW this year!

Option 1: Pay in full at the time of registration.

Option 2: Pay a non-refundable deposit of $40 per camp at the time of registration. Pay the remaining balance in equal monthly payments on the 5th of each month with the last payment on June 5.

  • The ExplorationWorks scholarship fund ensures that all families have the chance to experience ExplorationWorks' interactive and fun-filled science education programming. There are a limited number of scholarships available.

If applying for a scholarship, please wait for a response from the scholarship committee before signing your student up for a camp/class. No refunds will be given for the registration fees if you have already paid for it and receive a scholarship.

Please click here to learn more and to apply for a summer camp scholarship.

  • Our camps fill quickly, but cancellations do happen. To receive a notification when a spot opens in your desired camp, please add your name to the camp(s) waitlist when registering.

Waiting Lists Prior to June 1
We will contact parents in the order of placement on the list starting with the first camper. Parents will have one business day to respond and register before we contact the next family.

    Waiting Lists After June 1
We will send out a mass email notification to everyone on the list. Registration for those spots will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • The age limits for our camps are intended to facilitate a personal, age-appropriate science engagement in a small-group setting. Students must meet the minimum age requirement by the first day of camp in order to register. Please enter an accurate birthdate when registering online, and be sure to check out our engaging science resources for younger kids.

  • All-day camp options are available. Pair a morning camp with one of our afternoon camps and your camper will enjoy a full day of fun activities! This includes a 30-minute supervised lunch break (lunch not provided).

All-day campers will have a chance to relax and eat with our staff onsite or in the park nearby. ExplorationWorks does not provide any food for lunchtime, and there is no refrigerator or microwave available for campers.

Please note, the all-day option does not apply to our mini camps.

  • Check-in for morning camps begins at 8:15 am. For afternoon camps, check-in starts at 12:45. Please note that mini camps now start at the same time as the rest of our camp linup.

Transportation is not provided to/from off-site camps.
